 Hallcraft Tomorrow's Classic

Hallcraft Tomorrow's Classic was produced by Hall China beginning in 1952.  Collectors should keep in mind that Eva Zeisel designed the SHAPES ONLY for this dinnerware.  The decorations were primarily selected by Hall China, or designed by the decal company with which they worked.  Some decorations, or patterns, were supervised by Eva, however.

Irene Haas, her assistant, designed Lyric, and Frost Flowers; Eric Blegvad, a student, designed Buckingham, based on the grillwork surrounding Zeisel's New York City apartment, and Charles Seliger, of the decal company, designed Dawn, Arizona, Palo Duro, and Spring  We're continuing research to find out who had a hand in the other decorations, but, contrary to rumor,  the Harlequin design was not designed by either Zeisel or her students in order to incorporate their initials. It's just an abstract design.
Since all of Tomorrow's Classics pieces are identical in shape, regardless of pattern, we are listing the dimensions and descriptions of the pieces here.  Dimensions are approximate to the nearest 1/4".
