Zeisel, Mostly
Federal Tool
This may be the first time you've known that these jars are a Zeisel design. Made in 1947 for Federal Tool, they were soon ubiquitous, and may still be seen occasionally at pancake houses, thrift shops, and antique stores. The "ski-tracks" down the side are the distinguishing characteristic. Tops for pouring syrup, grating nuts or cheese, or dispensing sugar or salt were added by Federal Tool and not designed by Eva.
