Zeisel, Mostly

World of Ceramics

In the mid '90's, Eva Zeisel contracted with the World of Ceramics in North Carolina to re-create some of her most popular and treasured designs from the past.  All were produced under Zeisel's close supervision from her prototypes or original molds.  These were then sold in museum shops, fine retail stores and elegant galleries through about 2001. World of Ceramics recently decided to clear out their remaining unsold stock and we are fortunate to have been able to purchase some of it.  Many of the pieces were glazed in test colors which were selected by Zeisel but not in turn chosen by the retail sellers, so some of the colors are unique.  Other of the pieces were held back as seconds.  Everything we are offering here is in good condition, but do contact us for a detailed description of any piece in which you are interested.  And keep in mind that many of these pieces were sold out in the retail outlets and have become collectible in their own right.
